Test Results

City Walls and Saughall Medical Centre now offer a text messaging service to inform patients of their results. Text messages will be sent for both normal and abnormal test results. In the case of abnormal results, if the patient hasn’t made contact with the practice, a letter will be sent advising them what to do.

Please note: Some tests take longer to process than others so results may come back separately. If this is the case, you will receive multiple text messages. Should you receive multiple text messages stating both normal and abnormal results, please follow the instructions on the abnormal results message.

If this service or our text message appointment reminder service is of interest, please ensure that we have an up to date mobile telephone number for you.

You can provide us with this information online using Patient Access (preferred method) or via the contact form on this website. Please remember to include your name, address and date of birth so that we are able to identify the correct patient.

Please allow at least 1 week before contacting the practice for your test results unless you have been informed otherwise. Some test results may take considerably longer.

Telephone 01244 357800 (City Walls Medical Centre) any time between 2.00 pm and 5.00pm for all results. This gives the admin staff and where necessary, a clinician, time to review results that have been received overnight or that morning.

To protect all patient’s confidentially, results will only be given by telephone to the patient to whom the test result apply.
